Beacon Care
Beacon Care
Beacon Care reflects the love of Jesus by providing practical support and extending a compassionate hand to the people of the Redlands. Driven by Christ’s love, Beacon Care aims to prayerfully and practically serve the vulnerable in our community.
“Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?” James 2:15-16
Redlands Community Hub
Redlands Community Hub is a monthly gathering where organisations are available for vulnerable residents to access support in one place. Beacon Care strengthens the Hub through supplying free grocery items, a delicious bbq breakfast, and free haircuts to the vulnerable in our community. Volunteers create a welcoming space for conversations to be had, offering a listening ear, and the opportunity for community to be built.
Redlands Hospital Mental Health Inpatient Ward
Beacon Care supports the Redland Hospital Mental Health Inpatient Ward through donations of brand new clothing and hygiene items. Through these donations we aim to foster a sense of dignity and extend the Father’s love to those on the ward.
Made with Love
Made with Love is the meal ministry run by members of Beacon Church. Volunteers cook home-made meals for anyone in need whether it be yourself, family, friends or the wider community.
